OUR TEAM

Jared Priestley

Founder & Chair

I work as HSE Manager in the offshore wind renewable energy sector and I have a passion for doing the right thing, always pushing to make our lives better. I'm a former Kirton-in-Lindsey Town Councillor and regularly get involved in community activities such as litter picking, and community is central to what we want to achieve at NLWT. Where we can not just improve our environment by creating new habitats for animals, but also creating community spaces where the people of Lincolnshire can also get involved and enjoy these new spaces.

Lee Adamson

Treasurer

I have a background in finance and currently work as Head of Key Accounts for Wurth. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, supporting Liverpool and socialising with friends in Kirton in Lindsey. I wanted to offer my skills in finance, support a local charity and help improve my local surroundings so NLWT was a perfect fit.

Hannah Clark

Design

I graduated with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture & Design in 2022 and NLWT seemed like the perfect opportunity to put my degree to use in my local community. I work full-time as a Landscape Architect, for a local consultancy, where our main focuses are projects that benefit communities and mitigate the impacts of climate change. I enjoy designing in my free time as well as spending time out in nature and NLWT allows me to embrace both of these passions.

David Myers

Secretary

I left the RAF in 2022 after 22 years of service. The RAF moved us to Kirton Lindsey in 2006 and we’ve been here ever since. Over the last few years I have reevaluated how our family affects the world. Through this I decided to retrain as an electrician and work in renewable energy. I now install solar PV systems for a living. Being part of the NLWT fits perfectly with my refreshed aspirations to reduce my impact on the planet. When I’m not waxing lyrical about renewable energy and electric vehicles, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, going to gigs, following Sheffield Wednesday, England Cricket and Formula E.

Claire Longstaffe

Communications

I have lived in Kirton Lindsey for 4 years, I am a mum to a 17 year old daughter and a very wiggly Cocker Spaniel. I am a trained teacher and work for Ruth Miskin Training delivering support in phonics for over 50 schools in North Lincolnshire. I am a Trustee for the NLWT because I am passionate about creating a greener world for our children and protecting and enhancing wildlife in our area.

At North Lincolnshire Woodland Trust, we don’t just aim to buy land and plant trees, it goes deeper than that. We really want to make a difference to the environment by increasing nature, help with the fight against climate change and giving locals ownership of open spaces so they can enjoy them for generations to come. If you would like to donate to become part of something positive, for our future, please get in touch.
